PeaceWorks' primary focus is to educate the Church in domestic abuse prevention and intervention through PeaceWorks University and EQUIP (see below) and to provide periodic coaching and/or educational resources to abusive men through our Men of Peace program (see below).
We do not offer counseling services of any kind.
PeaceWorks University
WHAT IS PEACEWORKS UNIVERSITY?
PeaceWorks University is our online membership site, which exists to train and support people helpers in a variety of ministry contexts to address domestic violence with the gospel of peace.
PeaceWorks University has two main components: education and equipping through our online membership site and community building, peer support, and networking through our private PeaceWorks University Facebook Community group.
Members of PeaceWorks University will receive access to the regularly released resources below:
MONTHLY SHEPHERDING TEAM OPEN CONSULTS
Each month throughout 2024, PWU members will have the opportunity to participate in a live group consult (via Zoom) with Chris Moles. During these one-hour calls, PWU members may consult with Chris Moles regarding active domestic abuse intervention cases they are currently engaged in. Open Consults will take place on the second Monday of the month at 12pm ET and will not be recorded or be available for later viewing.
MONTHLY MEMBERS ONLY LIVE Q&A
Each month throughout 2024, PWU members will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A (via Zoom) with Chris Moles. During these one-hour calls, PWU members may submit general, non-case specific questions pertaining to domestic abuse prevention and intervention. Q&As will take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 12pm ET and will be recorded and saved in both our private PeaceWorks University Facebook Community group and the PeaceWorks University membership site for later viewing.
MONTHLY OFFICE HOURS
Each month throughout 2024, PWU members will have the opportunity to connect (via Zoom) with Chris Moles’ assistant, Chelsey Gordon. During these one-hour calls, PWU members may request assistance and support with any navigation or resourcing issues they may have within the PWU membership site. Office Hours will take place on the fourth Monday of the month at 12pm ET and will not be recorded or be available for later viewing.
MASTER CLASSES
Periodically throughout 2024, PWU members will receive access to five new Master Classes focused on self-care and resilience for helpers engaged in domestic abuse intervention ministry.
In addition to each of these regularly released resources, PWU members will have access to any 2024 Webinar replays with Chris Moles AND our online membership site which includes a vast archive of BONUS content, our CORE CURRICULUM for perpetrator confrontation (The Heart of Domestic Abuse: Step by Step Abuser Intervention for Biblical Counselors), past skill building SUCCESS PATHS and TOOLBOX items, as well as recordings of all past MASTER CLASSES, SHEPHERDING TEAM ROUND TABLES, MEMBERS ONLY LIVE Q&As, and BOOK CLUBS.
EQUIP
EQUIP is an on-line support community of Christ-centered people helpers who desire to:
Get monthly mentoring and case consultation with experts in their field
Sharpen their knowledge, skill sets, and professional expertise
Connect with others who share common goals for community and support
After joining EQUIP you’ll be able to connect regularly with Chris Moles and Leslie Vernick through video lessons, a private Facebook support group, and by Zoom video call each month so that you gain clarity on your cases, competence in your skill set, and confidence in your approach. Plus, you will be a part of a robust on-line private community who will support and encourage you in your professional life.
With Chris and Leslie’s 50+ years of combined experience, we have designed the EQUIP Pillars of Success (see circular graphic). These pillars will help you build a strong foundation to grow upon year after year. The pillars are designed to work like the seasons, repeating each phase as you and your practice grow and evolve. You can revisit each pillar as many times as you need to. This means you'll be consistently building your skills, knowledge, community, confidence, and impact.
Men of Peace Self-Paced Course
The Men of Peace Self-Paced Course is the compilation of all of Chris Moles’ past Men of Peace coaching content plus brand-new material. This course will walk men through the three-fold Men of Peace process of Information, Transformation, and Reformation, educating and guiding men who are ready to take ownership of their abusive behaviors and surrender themselves fully to the Lord in true and lasting repentance. Please be aware this course DOES NOT include a direct coaching component with Chris Moles. Instead, the Men of Peace Self-Paced Course is designed to be used within the context of an already established biblical counseling or coaching relationship, with the abusive man enlisting the discipleship and accountability support of a local counselor, pastor, or mentor. Once purchased, each course participant will have permanent access to all course materials. The Men of Peace Self-Paced Course includes the following components.
